Shadows House by author duo Somato manga is receiving a TV anime adaptation. The manga is quite a peculiar manga with an abnormal setting. It follows the relationship between Emilyko, a living doll, and her shadow master Kate. Emilyko has a duty to clean the room of her master who continues to emit soot that dirties her living space.

It has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump since September 2018, with the chapters collected in 6 tankōbon volumes as of October 2020. An anime television series adaptation has been announced.
